Samsung GALAXY S III

So, where shall we start? Samsung GALAXY S III. Before we proceed into rumors, let's talk about some real facts and news.
According to Samsung, the Samsung GALAXY S III wouldn't be appearing in the upcoming MWC 2012. They announced that Samsung GALAXY S III will be making a solo debut but not mentioning when and where.

Rumors about Samsung GALAXY S III has been circulating around since last year around November and December. As MWC 2012 is closing in, more rumors about Samsung GALAXY S III are emerging from no where.

So, now let's talk about rumors about it's specs, announcements or designs. Let's proceed with the specifications of the device first as below:

  • 1.5GHz / 1.6GHz quad-core processor
  • 12MP rear-camera (some said 8MP rear-camera; 2MP front-camera)
  • 2GB RAM
  • Android Ice Cream Sandwich
  • HD Display
  • Full Touch Screen
  • 7.0mm thickness

The specs definitely good enough to make everyone drool over it. However, with such a powerful specs, the device definitely need more juice to power it up and keep it running. No points having a Lamborghini that doesn't have enough fuel to keep it running right?

Battery life time has been an issue for a smartphone since it is first introduced until today. Samsung said that in 2012, they will make a new solution to overcome issue which mean a longer lasting battery. However, questions pop up here. According to rumors, the Samsung GALAXY S III will be only 7.0mm thick. Is it possible to fill in more juice into this device with this slimness?? I guess they definitely need a lot of tweaks into this.

As for the rumor on design, I doubt about it strongly. Just have a look at the design below. It has been circulating around since last year.

I'm not sure about other people opinions on this. But this is a BIG NO NO for me for sure. This is nothing close to elegant. I hope that Samsung will come up with something better than this. Don't you?

Rumors here, rumors there. It will never really ends here and there. Just have a look and wait for the real stuff on display. Everything will be uncovered soon enough. There's also rumors mentioning that the announcement of the Samsung GALAXY S III will be held on May. Let's just pray that it will be clearing up the air soon. ^^

World Thinnest Smartphone Huawei

If you're still thinking that Samsung GALAXY S2 is holding the world's title of being the thinnest smartphone, then you're wrong. You're wrong as well if you're saying the Droid RAZR is the thinnest. Now, the thinnest smartphone's title goes to Huawei! During CES 2012, Huawei has just revealed the world's thinnest smartphone ever, 6.68mm! How was that? Definitely sounds fragile to me but it is gorgeous piece of smartphone.

Now, let's stop amazed by the slimness of the device. Let's head forward to dig into it's specifications.
